“A grateful tourist!”

This morning my wife and I took an early morning walk south on the beach in the glorious Puerto Vallarta sunshine. We came upon a jetty which turned out to be the inlet to the Paradise Village Marina. We walked to the end of the jetty and enjoyed the morning view of the ocean. We then headed back to our hotel, but about ten minutes later I realized I no longer had my glasses case which contained not only my prescription reading glasses, but a bank credit card and about 50 dollars cash. I realized I must have left it on the bench at the jetty. I hurried back to the jetty, but the glasses case was not there.
I approached the nearest hotel which was Paradise Village. I asked a waiter at the outdoor restaurant who I might ask to see if someone perhaps turned in the glasses case. He directed me to the front desk, and when I asked about my glasses case, the front desk was already aware that the case had been found. I really didn't think I would see it again, but someone had turned it into a hotel security employee, who then brought it to the security office. Not only did I get my glasses case back but also all of its contents.
I cannot adequately express my gratitude to you and all of the hotel and marina employees who made this possible. Had not everyone at the hotel and marina who was involved acted with complete honesty and integrity, I would never have had my property safely returned. This is actually the second experience I have had vacationing in Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta that has ended well due to the honesty of hotel employees and taxi drivers. I have related my prior experience to many of my friends back home, and you can be sure that today's experience with yourself and your staff will be the subject of many conversations in the future. We have been vacationing in Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta for the last ten years, and hope to have many vacations here in the future. This beautiful location and the treatment we receive from hotel staff and others always meets expectations, but experiences like this morning clearly exceed expectations.
A simple thank you cannot really express my gratitude for how you turned a potentially very bad experience into a happy ending, but THANK YOU.... more |

We just returned after spending a great week, 5/31-6/7 at Paradise Village resort in Puerto Vallarta. It is a peaceful place, just right for relaxing and drinking cold coronas and snacking on really good guacamole and salsa on the beach. If you're looking for the kind of activity you find in Cancun, forget it, this is a "wasting away in margaritaville" place. What I... more |

We just returned from one week in paradise. We stayed in Rm 4804 ( 8th floor). The view was breathtaking. From this room, you could see the marina, the mountains and the ocean. What a way to start each day of you vacation! The resort itself is well maintained and very clean. I would do everything here except eat. I... more |

We have been coming to Paradise Village for the last 12 years, and it is one of our favorite places to go. We travel almost every month of the year and with the many places we have been in the U.S. and around the world, we would put this resort up against some of the best. The hotel offers also a Marina |

We just got back from a family vacation at Paradise Village. We had a blast as a family. This is definately a family vacations resort. It caters to the kids. There are crocodile waterslides, daily pool games led by the activities team, paint your own ceramics by the pool ($10-$20 depending on what size item you pick), great themed nights, a... more |

My husband, five year old son, and parents traveled to Paradise Village in January and had a wonderful time. There are plenty of activities for the kids and adults alike! We have been to hotels in Puerto Vallarta many times but have never stayed at a second home. We didn't leave the resort as much as we have from a hotel because we... more |
